Forest of Dean Health Forum

Welcome to our new website. Our aim is:

• To facilitate a forum where organisations delivering Health and Social Care services and support in the district can inform, engage and consult with the Forest Health Forum members on what they do and how they do it.
• To be a two way portal into patient and public representative bodies and into commissioning and service provision with Gloucestershire.
• To encourage the development of local solutions to local health and well-being issues with the Forest of Dean District.

Current Chair – Albert Weager –

the lay member on The Forest Integrated Locality Partnership.

Patient representative within the NHS for Urgent and Emergency Care for sixteen years. Currently I serve on the Urgent and Emergency Care Clinical Programme Group and chair the People and Communities Reference Group.

Within the acute hospital trust I have served

On numerous committees. Currently I am the patient

Representative on the Blood Transfusion Committee.

Locally in the Forest of Dean I have been chair of its

Health Forum since 2014 and was a committee member

Prior to that. The Forum looks out for the health and

Social care interests of Foresters.
